The best way to ensure that you have installed the "right" certificate or GnuPG/PGP key for the user or organization is to check the fingerprint of the certificate or key with the owner of the certificate/key in a way that make you 100% sure that you are communicating directly with the owner of the certificate/key. Example of different method you can use to check the fingerprint of certificates and keys are personal meeting, phone calls, fax with passport/driving-license, check etc... You are free to check the fingerprint of all of our GnuPG/PGP keys and our CA certificates with us over phone, by visit us in person or contact a third party that can confirm the fingerprint of our certificate and GnuPG/PGP keys.
